YG 070824. Golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, pine. Flavor is tropical fruit, pine, citrus. Nice beer.

Can. An unclear orange colored beer with a small, dense off-white head that lasts. Grapefruity, citrusy aroma with a vague hint of licorice. Some tropical fruityness, pineapple and papaya. It's medium to full-bodied, semi-dry, with a nice carbonation. Decent bitterness that grows more intense towards the finish. Almost hop burn-like. Grapefruit, pineapple, resin, tropical fruityness and a touch of pale malts in the flavor. Lasting hop driven finish. Quite pleasant this one. Interesting with the licorice-ish touch in the aroma. 240807

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Herbarium, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Opaque and pale greyish-yellow colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of citrus, pine and tropical fruits. Slightly dry flavour with the same elements. Good beer.

8-3-8-4-16 Can, #710, two weeks after canning. Pours translucent golden, with a big creamy head. Aroma is dank hops with citrusy notes of orange, lime, grapefruit, tropical passion fruits and pineapples, as well as malts with hay, honey and oaty minerals mFull body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is dank hops with citrusy notes of grapefruit, lime, mango, pineapples and stone fruit pits, as well as cereals, honey and oaty minerals.

Full av forventninger benker meg i solkroken til enda en ny NEIPA fra de lokale helter i Hillevåg: uklar lys skittengul med utmerket skum helt ned, akkurat som forventet. Overraskende beskjeden aroma (eller er det min forkjølelse som spiller inn?), men superfrisk og distinkt smak med generøse mengder tropiske frukter, litt besk citrus (med grapefrukt i ledelsen), furunål og hint av pepper. Deilig maltsmak og lang, halvtørr avslutning med den velkjente mersmaken. 0,44 boksen fant jeg i Verksgata.
