Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours clear, pale yellow with a foamy white head. The nose has mild lemon, white grape, minerals. Light sweet flavor with mellow tang, mild pale dough, hay, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Very clean finish with restrained lemony tang, dried dough, pale malts, light straw. Delicious and effortlessly drinkable.

Bottle from the brewery, picked up by J-Dogg.It pours hazy pale gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, vinous, lemon, spice, biscuit and barnyard. The taste is crisp, lightly tart, doughy, vinous, lemon, gooseberry, touch of spice, barnyard and wood with a dry finish. Light-medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. As ever effortless drinkable. The wine barrel adds lovely subtle nuances. Delicious.

Bottle at home, thanks to J-Dawg for running me this one once again, 14/12/13. Almost clear pale blonde with a thin off white pond atop the glass. Nose is earthy fruit, lemon rind, rich red wine tones, berry fruits, red grapes - lots of depth for a sub 4% beer. Taste comprises bitter citrics, lemon rind, barnyars, funk, straw, laced with subtle red wine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy finish. Lots of flavour for a 3.9% beer - nice work!

Hazy pale gold beer with a small white head. Light dry palate, minerally crisp. Dry yeast and light lemony sourness. Nice back end of light red wine berries and tang. Dry finish. Very light and dry but one of the better ones in this series.
