Cask tasted at the Bow Bar on the 10/08/2016. Hazy pale golden colour with a tin white head. Aroma of lemon, floral, grainy and more fruits. Taste is fruity and drinkable but nothing special. Next one please!

Cask pint in the Bow Bar on 24th Oct 2014. Clear light golden with a thinning white crown. Aroma of citrus fruits, with lemon being the dominant one. The taste was also citrus led, mild biscuity maltiness as a base but overrun by the semi-bitter citrusy hops. OK, but not my thing really.

Keg at Bow Bar. It pours hazy gold with a decent white head. The nose is toasted grain, lemon meringue pie, soft fruits and floral notes. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon peel, pithy, minerals and some florals and grainy with a dry finish. Crisp and refreshing. Quite like this on keg.

Cask at Bow Bar. Clear pale golden body with a thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of dirt, straw and lemon. Flavour of Rich Tea biscuit, earth and a dry citrus finish. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Light carbonation prickle. A decent session beer but not the most interesting or flavoursome.

On handpump at Cloisters, Edinburgh, Saturday 15th March Crystal clear gold with a sticky white head, juicy and pithy citrus with lemon mostly. Nose isn’t up too much in facts it doesn’t really hint at what is to come which is a very decent beer. A6 A5 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7

2nd go at this - Bow Bar [281013]
Very soft spicy hops, light fruits, still rather dull for me. Light body, bit oily, finish of soft bitter cereal, dry. It’s rather dull. A below average golden ale for me. Only up to 2.7

Cask @ Bow Bar, Edinburgh [280913] 4/3/6/2/11 2.6
Light blonde, thin dense white head
Aroma of soft cereal malt, dull straw, slight manure(?), dull overall
Taste of soft fruits, touch of apricot, bit zesty, some soft spicy hop, slightly tart fruits
Palate - Light body, fairly oily. Finish is too dry, soft bitter.
Overall - Well on the day this wasn’t for me.....will re-rate again
