330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of citrussy hops, hints of tropical fruits and sprucetips too. The flavour is also very fruity, citrus and tropical fruits come forward, hints of crushed gooseberries too. The fruitiness is balanced by a decent piney bitterness in the finish. Good beer!

Can from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham consumed at home on Pond Building Pt2 Weekend, indoors now, preparing Swordfish Burgers with Artichoke Escalivada and Smoked Paprika Sherry Mayo, Sunday 30th April 2017 Pours hazy gold with a huge billowing head, massive foamy head. There is a bit of peachiness on the nose, easy drinking beer, I like this, it’s not complicated, it’s a nice fruity APA, a little punchy hoppy bite, pithy back end. Very pleasant. Cask at the Maidenhead Beer Festival, July 2016. A slightly hazy amber pour with a ring of white head; fruity aroma with a touch of apricot; dry and fruity in the mouth, but rather thin; with a sweet biscuity finish.

Has a good hop aroma with some softness, not too sharp. Okay bleach white head and foggy orange peach body. Flavour is peach notes, some orange and apricot. Hoppy to be sure. Weak on the mouth. A little sharp oiliness would go a long way to improving this one. Not bad, but needs some more effort.

Cask at CBC Holborn - London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Great aroma, lots of vibrant citrus fruits, melon, tangerine. Light to medium sweet flavour with more juicy citrus, light piney bitterness, pale malts, some bitter rind. Light to medium bodied with fine carboantion. The finish has a sturdy kick of bitter grass and pine, with probably not quite enough sweetness to balance it out. Lingering rindy citrus and grass. Overall, though, very nice.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Mid- to dark gold, slightly hazy, with a tidy little white head. Mild aroma of grapefruit, grain, papaya. It’s in the taste that this beer comes into its own. A citrus hop burst wends its way down to the back of the tongue with a long bitter finish. Slightly grainy palate. Good stuff.
