500ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Fairly dark gold, clear with almost no head. Aroma is very low although I am getting a small amount of citrus peel and dried grass. Astringent bitter taste after a very short initial sweetness, some kumquat peel and loads of toffee beneath the bitterness. Finish is incredibly bitter. Low carbonation. Nah.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 22 Apr 2015) Hazy pale amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and floral hops. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, biscuits and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Bottle at ChrisOs. It pours clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, zesty citrus, lemon verbena and light floral notes. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon rind, grassy, grainy, pine, grapefruit and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty dry all in all. OK, but pretty forgettable.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. The nose holds peach, pith, lemon and minerals. Light sweet flavor, dry and minerally, with slight bitter pine needles. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with lemon rind, minerals and peach. So so.
