Brewerd with Melissa cole, this tasty tipple is a Belgian style tripel with ester and spice aromas and the flavour to match. A real taste sensation that should be enjoyed sensibly.

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish amber colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Complex fruity aroma has notes of mirabelle, prune, red berries, cautious, mild spicy hints of nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty, fruit, notes of prune, mirabelle, cherry, red berries, a minimally peppery spicy yeasty touch, mellow sherry hints; full body, soft, oily, viscous palate. Very clean.

Bottle shared with my good friend Niels. Clear light amber color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is lightly malts, sweetish, a hint of spice. Taste lightly malts, sweetish, lightly caramel, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Doesn’t appear to be a tripel but it tastes ok.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Thanks to Paul. Clear gold beer, tiny white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Spirity malts, whispers of brandy and orange liqueur. Touch of dried fruits and spice. Light dry finish.
