Pils is brewed in the winter and fermented with lager yeast in our coolship at ambient temperatures. The wort is made from barley, oats, and European hops. Lagering takes place in large oak casks through the winter with wild yeast and bacteria. Finally, the beer is dry-hopped with whole-leaf hops and bottle conditioned for several months before release.

1/8/2026. Bottle shared by LazyPyro, cheers Chris! Good pour. Not your typical pils, Mills do pils their way and make a good job of it. Funky, citrus, vinous, yeasty. Some nice tartness. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden with a big white head, lively pour. Aroma of lemon, citrus peel, funk. Taste is dominated by lemon, with funk, grains, oak, straw. Medium bodied, lively carbonation.
Mills' beers aren't really my thing generally speaking but I enjoyed this.

Честно, не понял хайп. Очень кислое у меня было, прям с намеками на саур с американским хмелем. В принципе можно пить, но как лагер очень спорно.

Bottle bought at FarFarOut, Southsea. Aroma has vinous sourness and citrus over a sweet malty base. A,hazy dsrk gold. Frothy foamy fluffy white head. Sour. Biggly so. Vinous. Gooseberry. Peripheral malts and yeast. Underlying earthiness. As I drink more a juicy streak develops. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. It's a Pils but may as well be a Sour Ale. But what it is, it's good.

330ml bottle online from the source. Pours mildly hazy gold with white foam. Aroma: grains, lemon verbena, hay, oak, plenty funky Taste: light to moderate sweet with a bit more bitterness. It's crisp, clean, funky, leafy. Towards medium body with spritzy carbonation. Cracking funky pilsner.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft, OG. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a fluffy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with a lovely bretty funk character, lemon peel, a little apple peel, pithy grapefruit, straw, grass. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, dry and funky, some pale wood, musty cellar, bitter grass and straw, dirty hay. Very nice stuff.

330ml bottle. Mills online. Hazed glowing pale gold with a lasting lacing dense white foam. Looks boss. Nose has super crisp clean grain and lemon verbena hoppage. Behind all that there’s the musty Mills yeast and bugs and behind that the clean cut oak. And yet it still smells like a class German or Czech pils. Taste has a crisp super bright grassy leafy bitterness. Minimal amount of grainy sweetness. Unreal mouthfeel is foamy and every so slightly puckering. Soft rolling carbonation. Big mineraly and oaky finish. Absolutely beautiful beer.
