Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, some coffee, with a slight hint of hops in the finish. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is just above medium. Nice uncomplicated bittersweet Imperial Stout, plenty of roast and chocolate. Very enjoyable.

(Draught at Café Derat, Utrecht, 14 Feb 2019) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and hints of ashes. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, ashes, liquorice and a generous coffee bitterness. Almost full body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made stout, fairly well balanced for its strength. Nice one.

At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter!
Cloudy black with a lasting, foamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, licorice, dark fruits, hops & dark chocolate. It tastes light caramel-like sweet and medium hoppy bitter; long, roasted finish. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Balanced, 'krachtig' (powerful) but still very drinkable.

Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. Black, big creamy tanned head. Nose is dull roast, herbal, cacao, black liquorice. Taste is better basic black herbal liquorice, cacao, easy roast, mocha. Body is thick herbal, bark. Solid enough easier black liquorice heavy RIS, not bad.
