Half pint from the cask at Spread Eagle, Ipswich. Pours a slight hazy golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of apple, lemon, melon, citrus & hops. Moderate body. Crisp light bitter finish. Enjoyable

Full family walk from Overstrand to Cromer (for an excellent ice cream) and back again. It was a bit warm and tiring for all, particularly the big dog which had to be carried for the last bit by the middle daughter. Ended up in the White Horse in Overstrand which had a superb selection of cask beers and I had half of this. I have a strong suspicion I was the first person to have this on the day because it just wasn't quite right. Anyway, I picked up a fresh dressed crab from a little shop in Overstrand and a superb white burgundy, bread, salad and new potatoes from Waitrose. It's going to be a good night

Delt med Rune på GBBF Winter festival i Burton-Upon-Trent. Gylden. Litt uklar. Filmskum. God fruktaroma. Smaken gordbær. Tørr, nesten ikke bitter avslutning.

Cask halfpint, as Grain Threeonesix, at The Old Ticket Office, Cambridge. ABV 3.9%. Pale golden colour, white head. Citric / grapefruity aroma and flavour, zesty and bitter in the finish.

50cl bottle from the Mad Squirrel shop, Chesham, as Grain ThreeOneSix. A very pale amber pour with a loose white head; grassy citrus aroma; sweet grainy body with a grassy bitterness and some citrus. A plasant lager-style ale.
