Sjøen 091223. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, sugar, roasted malt, mocca, vanilla, cocoa, licorice. Very nice beer.

8-5-8-4-17 Can, vintage 2021 with unreadable batch and date stamp. Pours opaque, pitch black, with a big creamy, mocha head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with coffee, dark chocolate and notes of mint, as well as muscovado, liquorice and vanilla. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with rye bread, coffee, vanilla and liquorice, as well as muscovado, dark chocolate and fresh minty notes. A smooth, velvety and refreshing dessert. Very quaffable and moreish!

Black with a minimal light brown head. A burned malt, coffee and dark chocolate sense. Sweet with a coffee, chocolate and some vanilla and alc. at the end. Full bodied.

Takk til Håkon som tok med denne fra Bergen Storsenter - en særdeles velkomponert og saliggjørende dessertøl breddfull av moccabønner, vanilje, luksuskaffe og feit sjokoladekake, garnert med mynte og lakris. Du verden for en markering, dette er et nytt koordinat å navigere etter. Blir bedre ved lagring - da må du ha en usedvanlig sterk karakter. Jeg har derimot en svak karakter, men den har jeg jammen hatt mye glede av!

330 ml can, vintage 2020, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 11.5%. Pitch black colour, moderate to small but creamy tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, cocoa / chocolate, vanilla and mint. Smooth mouthfeel. Rich flavour, medium sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate hops. Very good beer.

From can at Mi2 at Cardinal 22.06.20. Ebony. Small brown head. Fine aroma and taste of black malt, chili, Indian food with mint. Good!
