Sampled from bottle @ De Molen 2nd Tuesday Tasting. Clear copper color, small off-white head that diminishes instantly. Aroma is malts, a bit sweetish, caramel, maple syrup perhaps? Taste malts, caramel, sweetness, again some maple syrup or something similar. Average body and carbonation. Meh, not really great.

On-tap in the Rogue Pub on Union St, San Fran: 3rd Feb 2013. Headless pour: red hue to the dirty orange/brown body. Malts rule the roost here: both in the nose and the mouth. The hops do balance it out nicely and give a slight bitter finish but overall the malts sweetness pushes the flavours towards caramel and toffee like tastes. I like the sweeter brews so this was fine in my eyes (apart from actually looking at it!).

Bottle. Cloudy amber colour. Not much head. The flavour is citric, seems to have a little citrus... Infection. Wet rag... Malty, but not so good.
