500ml bottle conditioned: poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 24th Sep 2015. As usual, shared with no one. A little sediment left the bottle, so I got a misty golden pour, the head a full and deep white blanket of bubbles. Yeasty, farmyard like aromas along with a citrus over smell. The taste was also on the yeasty side with less farmyard and more citrus notes that got stronger and more intense as the tasting/drinking progressed. Pleasant enough and refreshing, one of the better beers I have had from Mallinsons.

Cask @ Flower Pot, Mirfield. Paler golden colour with a creamy head. Hopped with a dry fruitiness. Very much a light tasting session ale.

23rd August 2012
Hazy orange - gold beer, little off white head. Semi crisp palate. Mild lactose in the creamy malt. Nice hops in good balance. Nice fresh orange - tangerine, whisper of grapefruit. Finishes softish and semi dry. Just a whisper of Mallinsons soap this time around. Pretty good.

LIVE RATING. Cask at CBC on 27th March 2013. Amber with whitish lacing foam. Hoppy, somewhat yeasty aroma. Biscuit malt and tangy citrus harmonipe in-mouth along with nuttiness. Fruity tanginess in finish with grapefruit developing. Zingy mouthfeel.

Aroma: Green leafy hops, stewed tea and citrus fruit.
Appearance: Murky amber body with a thin white head that holds well. Tiny yeast flecks floating around. No visible carbonation. Light lacing marks.
Taste: Huge grapefruit and gooseberry flavour. Subtle biscuity pale malt with a light peppery spice. Very juicy and bitter.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: From the bottle, but it’s like a perfect cask conditioned beer. So hoppy it’s like an IPA. A fantastic effort from Mallinsons.
