Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. He’s a fine fellow. This is wank though. Smells of butter and wet paper. Taste is pretty rank. Dry and slightly sour. Thin and dry overall. Yeah. Wank. Imagine selling shit like this and hoping you’ll get away with it.

Thin off white head on an unclear pale golden coloured body. Caramel & berry aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a tingle on the back. Citrus, apple, marmalade & pale malt tastes with a zesty peppery finish. Easy drinker.

Bottle from Beer GB. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon, biscuit and butterscotch. Taste is more of the same, custard creams spring to mind. Sweet finish.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is just a general sweetness – maybe some malts lingering. In the motuh it starts off sweet and malty is biscuit flavouring. After a while that turns to butterscotch , and later still to an old style bitterness. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Drinkable but Inoffensive
