Cask at the Crispin, Wokingham, 01/08/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is straw, caramel, fruity notes, bready, light orchard tones. Taste comprises dark fruit notes, faint caramel, vanilla, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter rinse. Ok bitter - really had this as a bitter not a GB !

Cask @ Baum, Rochdale. Golden with a creamy head but certainly a bitter in taste with a fairly high bitterness and a slightly skunky aroma.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, bright yellow-gold with a fine, white cream head. Biscuity, lightly doughy nose, hints of buttery malts. Light sweet flavor with further biscuits, pale malts, touches of diacetyl thatenhance the doughiness. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Moderate dryness to finish, some bitter hay, plenty of dry biscuits, mild dough. Fine.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is sweet malts, some earthy notes along with nectar and honey. Flavour is quite similar in a good balance, but also is a bit more grassy hoppy, which helps the beer being not too sweet.

Cask-conditioned at Bucks and Berks Beeriodical, Seven Stars, Bristol May 2012. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. My notes extend no further that stating "decent citrus hops with a pleasant, bitter finish". Fine.
