Cask at the Rake. It pours clear golden amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, hay, barnyard, ginger, pepper, unripe pear and light candy sweetness. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy, toast, spice, citrus peel, only a touch of sweet pear/apple and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a classic tripel... so thankfully not too sweet. Pretty interesting and decent balance. Alright.

Cask @ Tap East, Stratford, London
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, orange and hint of alcohol. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly warm and yeast fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Cask handpull at Tap East Stratford. Gold clear no head. Estery Belgian yeast aroma. It’s a strong Belgian blond. Pretty tasty. Alcohol is a little obvious. More Fruit Salad chew esters throughout and some hop presence on the finish. Ok

Cask at the Tap East Second Anniversary Party - Stratford, London. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. Nose of heavy Nelson Sauvin, mango, citrus, pee. Medium sweet flavor, lightly yeasty, with pale bread, more pee and mango - lovely. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with more piss and tropical fruits. I really dig this. Not a by-the-book tripel but it’s a damn tasty beer.

Tap East Birthday Bash. Cask. Hazy gold beer with a residual white head. Smooth palate with fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, somewhat triple like. Soft dried fruits. Whisper of spice. Semi dry finish. Certainly feels Belgian. Gutted I didn’t get to try the Scarred American.
