Phantasmagoria is an IPA that is low in malt flavors, but high in hops. We brew this beer as a nod to the big hoppy beers of the west coast. We use loads of citrusy and piney hops at the end of the boil and in the fermenter to make this beer a hop experience.

Trotzdem definitiv ein beer with benefits.

Say no more...

On draught at Bob's Bar during the "Prairie Artisan Ales!" event on 08/10/2017. Murky peach-gold color with a medium thick frothy white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy straw color (maybe a hair darker, but not quite gold) with carbonation sticking to the glass and a thin head. Aromas are fruity (peaches, melons, mango and pear) with a little honey. Flavor is boozy and fruity... I don’t know if I would argue there is a lot of resin here, but I do get a lot of that light fruit and a little tropical before the ABV burn starts to take over. It certainly drinks hotter than 8%...

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a murky peach color with a large creamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was dry and tart with a lemon presence. The flavor was tart and dry with lemon, tangy grapefruit and pine. Long lemon and grapefruit finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

Unique IPA by one of my favorite breweries. Hop forward but not overpowering at all. Damn smooth.
