Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A pale amber pour with a thin scummy-looking white head; sweet grainy aroma; sweet grainy body with a light spicy bitterness; and a touch of ground ginger adding warmth. Pleasant on a hot summer afternoon.

Peoples History Museum Beer Festival 2016. Bright clear blonde coloured. Hoppy, slightly floral, with a lingering malty-bitterness. There’s some wheat beer character here, but it’s mainly an average ale.

Draft. Slightly hazy pale gold beer. Dry crisp palate. Tangy sweet orange and lemon citrus. Crisp dry finish. Light touch of elderflower. Light and fruity.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Very pale gold with slight haze, lasting white head. I keep trying Pictish beers as Gazza says they’re great. Faint hop aroma, ok in mouth. Finish is sherberty hoppy with a little of the yeast from teh aroma coming through. It’s not wonderful.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer Festival 06-07-07. This poured amazingly clear and a very pale golden colour I was rather suprised, I was expecting at the very least some haziness to it. Once people clocked onto this beer it actually went down very well indeed and I could see why. It had a nice if maybe too subtle aroma with a hint of orange and wheat, the taste was very clean and really refreshing, some spiciness and wheat but quite delicate, still a very nice beer.
