Draught at 2018 Welsh Perry & Cider Festival, Caldicot. Orange gold colour, no head and woody funky apple aroma. Taste is tangy, apple, woody oak, sawdust, with dry tannins. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Cask at Tapping the Admiral - London. Pours lightly hazy, orange-gold with a few bubbles on top. Tart, underripe apples in the nose with suggestions of dry funk, old rotting wood. Light to medium sweet flavor with good acidity, apple skin bitterness, some crisp, zingy apple sweetness, dank basement, slight marmalade. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tart, lightly burning and acidic to finish, more funky, musty apples, cobwebs and basement, grass, poo, skin. Pretty dynamic. Not bad.

Draft @ Llandrindod Wells Beer & Food Festival May 2014. Pours gold, label says ’Dry’ in big red pen on the box but I’d say Medium-Dry. Rich tannic apples emerge before a dry finish. Some barnyard dustiness on the aftertaste before subsequent sips bring out smooth funk and the slightest hint of vanilla. Nice.

Tap at Cider Tap with Sarah. Pours a near clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates immediately and completely. Aroma is full of ripe apple with a slight underlying dryness. Flavor has dry apples throughout with a hint of floral and perfume.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 26 April 2008) Cloudy orange colour with no head. Fruity nose with slightly tart notes of green apples. Fruity, not too harsh, taste with tart hints of apples. Medium dry with a nice lambic like barnyard character. Very nice and tasty.
