50 cL can, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is pinewood and grapefruit hoppy. Light caramel malty base, dry pinewood hops and mild citrusy fruity note in the flavour. Bitter, dry malty and roasted finish with a lasting malt impression.

Can. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, hops, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and a bit of spices, leading to a quite bitter finish. The body is thin. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is very fruity with a little caramel. Medium body, dusty roasted malts and again fruity. Rather subdued bitterness. Quite quaffable. 030410

330mL bottle - pours amber/copper. Flavour is sweet malt and mild hops. Refreshing, but unspectacular.

Hazy copper color; small head. Strange aroma: malt, meat, beans, straws. Quite good malt flavor, with limited sourness, and a light citrusy hopping. A bit metallic. Correct brew.

Golden color; creamy head. Mild aroma, some caramel and hop. Round body, caramel flavor, correct bitterness. Correctly brewed, quite pleasant.

On tap at The Railway Club, Vancouver. Amber with thin off white head. Quite a malty pale ale. Surprising really. Really nice hop aroma, goodish malt and then great grapefruit hop on end. Most malty pale ale I’ve had. Nice.

Lightly hazed orange golden ale with a thick white lacing head. Nice malt with lots of grapefruits and floral hops, like I like them. In mouth, very nice balance of malts, caramel notes, and floral hops, oily mouthfeel, very quaffable! This is why I like West Coast ales so much. Merci JM!

Bright amber - just a shade lighter (more copper) than the Thirsty Beaver. Light hop character and a hint of yeasty toastiness. Moderate body with a slightly sweet finish.
