0.33 l bottle, best before October 2021, courtesy of my Secret Santa 2016 MrHangover, thanks Johan! Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish, moderately roasty-malty, quite hoppy-resiny and a bit fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, pine, blueberries and blackcurrant. Sweet, rather roasty-malty, slightly resiny and a bit fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, molasses, a touch of nuts, pine and blueberries, followed by a rather long, roasty-bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic and also quite hoppy-resiny finish. Full body, very creamy and syrupy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Massive Imperial Stout, very intense, great mouthfeel as well. The berries are very subtle, as is the alcohol, classic Imperial Stout flavours dominate. Overall very good!
