500ml bottle watching Women's Euro '22 France vs Germany. Hazed deep amber appearance, good off-white head. Nice welcoming toffee nose. Rich caramel bock character to taste with a nice richness of flavour.. surely this is a doppelbock at 6.5%? Great drinkability. Decent stuff.

Almost clear amber beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Very fine carbonation. Smooth creamy malt, touch of unsweet toffee. Good dried fruits and a subtle fresh orange tang on the backend. Finishes smooth. Well joined up and very satisfying as a pottered about the kitchen getting me dinner!

Bottle at a ChrisO tasting - London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a fine, white foam head. Basic nose of lightly toasted malts and leaves. Medium sweet flavor, lightly alcoholic, with caramel and bready malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly sticky sweet to finish with a bit more caramel and modest, leafy bitterness. Bland, but OK.

Bottled. Goldeny amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruityness, some sweet notes of grains. Flavour is fruity, floral, caramelly, mild gluelike notes. Not that close to a bock...

Amber with a small off-white head and a light fizz. Sweet malt and caramel aroma. Malt with caramel, burnt sugar, toffee, brown suger and other things of that ilk are also at the forefront of the sweet taste, with some orange and a hint of chilli. Finish is lightly dry and bitter with hints of minerals and herbs, but it’s definitely all about the sweet malt. After an uncertain start, I decided that I rather liked this.

500ml bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Clear pale copper with thin beige head. Some cereal, some freshness a touch of orange fruit. I quite like this. Good citrus flavours on the finish. Malts are ok. This is pretty good. Some hop on the finish, some bitterness. Good.
