Cask @ Real Ale Tavern, Bewdley. Pours pale gold, small white head. Floral bitter nose. Taste is a bit watery, thin, bitter, dry fruit. Not a lot going for it really, I'd echo blackhaddock's rating below.

Cask at the fleece, Penwortham. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Aromas of light lemon and cereal grains, light wheat. Taste is more of the same. Refreshing enough, but thin.

Hand-pulled half in The Station, Oakengates on 3 Oct 2013: Golden with a white head, some lacing. Hops first, malt undertone, pleasant without being special. One of those beers that you forget about really, nothing wrong with it, just a bit ’run of the mill’ in every aspect.

Darker golden ale with a creamy head. Mild but pleasant in its character with a refreshing texture and fruits in its aroma and taste with a grainy undercurrent.
