600 ml bottle, No. 818 out of 1200 made. ABV is 8%. Black colour, tan head. Interesting aroma, oyster sauce and a hint of smoke on a background of typical roasty stout notes. Smooth roasty flavour, where the whisky and oyster are only discretely but successfully present. A beer they should brew again, the best I’ve had from Aarhus.

60 cl. bottle (#493) poured into a snifter, label says 8 % alc. Black with orange-brown hues, small brown head. Aroma with coffee, toasted malts and a subdued smoked note. Taste is medium sweet. Nice palate: Medium to full body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes with light coffee, licorice and faint notes of oystersauce. IMHO to mildly flavoured to be an imp. stout, and the imaginative description on the label does not make this beer better!

Bottle, 8%. Sweet roasted malt aroma. Clear black colour. Stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a semi-rough bitterness. Ends on a dry raw liquorice note. The alcohol burns a little in midflavour.
