A beer that is as laid back as you could ever get! Light and refreshing fruit salad undertones complemented with a hefty dose of zing.

Cask @ The Caley, Edinburgh 160612
Blonde yellow, clear, frothy white head with some lacing
Aroma of light pale malts, hint of hops, dull nose
Taste of light golden malts, touch of spicy peppery hops, light citrus, slightly metallic, bit dull
Palate - soft carb, thin body. Finish as main flavour, full, hint of metal on the tail
Overall - Very ordinary blonde ale - I have no idea why Tempest brew this - it’s not a patch on the other beers I’ve tried from them which are generally excellent

Light haze on this pale god beer. Little white head. Very light palate with equally light carbonation. Mild tangy hop, orange and tangerine with some dried fruits. Semi dry finish. Okay but lacks any substance.

Cask at the CBC, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white head. Pleasant straw, hay, a bit of cereal, light citrus aroma. Light sweet flavor, plenty of straw, biscuits, light lemon, toasted hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, lightly sticky finish, toasted straw, light cereal and citrus. A very highly drinkable golden.

On cask at Craft Beer Co. pale clear gold lasting cream head. Hoppy golden ale with some ascetic notes. Just on border of being too hop acid harsh. Just a touch too ascetic to be pleasant. Good lemon though

Tap @ the Caley Sample Room. Pours gold/amber with a small head and not much bubbles. The nose has citrus and gentle malt. The taste is really burnt and astringent - I struggle to get anything else. The palate is again hard to enjoy because the burnt note goes from start to finish, even though it’s got decent structure and texture. Very unbalanced. This may need a re-rate because Blairgus says he put a vodka in it.
