Draught. Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown foamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, alcohol, some chocolate, mild nutty tones with some slight spiciness and herbs. Flavour is alcohol, liquorice, chocolate, some roasted tones with mild nutty tones with some slight herbal tones. Rather sweet. But still pleasant sipper.

Bottled 01-06-17. Pitch black, little bit of light brown foam. Smells alcoholic, roasty. Taste is bittersweet, biscuits and especially sesame come through a lot. Very smooth mouthfeel, good thickness, alcoholic. Quite strong, a bit too intense for me.

Taste at borefts where I also bought a bottle which I'm drinking now. Pours black with very little head. Aroma is boozy and really nutty, coffee, molasses, dark malts. Big body. Flavours reveals a lot of bourbon up front. Sweet and quite complex, with rich malt flavours. Caramel is quite prominent. Lot of coffee and maybe a hint of smoke. Some hoppiness even at moderate bitterness. Finishes warm with the intense bourbon that dominates without overpowering. Sesame: I may have had some nuttiness in aroma but otherwise hard to say what it contributes. Lovely beer though.

21/IX/18 - sample @ Borefts Bierfestival Day 1 BB: n/a - (2018-1356) Thanks to the international Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of alcohol, banana peel, bit fruity. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of alcohol, bit sourish, fruity, bit over the top. Aftertaste: bitter touch, fruity, dry, some tannins, quite some alcohol. Don't like this one very much...
