Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Salford. Golden-amber with a thin head. Ale textured with a little bit of activity in the palate. Has some very light fruity notes and fairly smooth tasting.

500ml bottle: BBD Mar 2014. Poured into ’Veltins’ badged tulips just after Andy Murray won the Wimbledon mens singles on 7 Jul 2013. Usual lager/pilsner look: golden, bright and clean. Thin white head on each glass. Hop nose and taste with a malty overtone: semi-sweet, yet with enough hop content to keep the beer dry and refreshing. OK and a bit different to most lagers.

Bottle. Nice hoppy nose, lemony, dry, grassy. Light bready malts. Ale-like. Deep gold, slightly cloudy, with lace. Light to medium malt flavor, very grassy hops, some citrus, nice bitter finish. Bready. Tasty stuff and flavorful for 4.1%. I could drink a lot of this. A bit light bodied, as one would expect. Dry and refreshing, as the bottle says.

Bottle from the Cromwell Road Sainsbury’s. Pours golden amber with some white bubbles. Not getting much nose. Med body. Flavor is a little bready, and I can imagine some hop. It is fairly dry, but not getting significant bitter. Fresh and zesty? Really? It does have a certain kick, and it’s drinkable. But?

500ml bottle. Yellow amber colour, thin white head and floral sweet citrus hop aroma. Crisp bitterness with biscuity hop taste, citrus notes, and a lingering dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Now this I quite like. Clear gold, thin white head. Soft yeast and soft hop aroma. Some sherbert. Soft in mouth, touch of nettle flavour. Touch of bitterness on finish. Soft and rather good. No puke or off flavours. Decent lager.
