0.5 l bottle, thanks to Marko, shared with Ogi and him. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Lightly grainy and bready aroma, more or less clean fermentation profile. Lightly grainy and bready flavour. Light body, soft carbonation, light dry finish. Lacks the traditional Festbier character.

0.5l bottle. Bit clearish amber body, off-whtie head. Sweetish lean light malty floral aroma, with low floral touches. Soft maltiness, bit minerally, low papery touches, some vague herbal touches, minerally but without significant bitterness. I can see this being quite chuggable fresh, it's just so soft and smooth.

Bottle picked up from Gesellschaftsbrauerei Viechtach and consumed at home Monday 19th August 2024 listening to ByteFM. I am absolutely gutted to find out that this brewery have gone out of business. Pours dark gold with a mid sized white head of foam. Nice malty nose, the hops are subtle but lend an ever so spicy edge. Malt with a pleasant sweetness, there is a little sweet orange blossom here, very moreish, fresh and quaffable. I really am so bitterly disappointed at the loss of this brewery, it really was a wonderful find when we moved to this area and now after 470+ years no more, how sad.

Sauber! (4.8.2023.)

Bottle: Golden, stable medium-sized beaten-egg-white-like white head; sweet bisquity nose with a slight herbal-hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium(!) bodied; drier - lingering - hoppy-malty finish. Good stuff....

Bottle, danke Günther. Golden, fine carbonation, low foam. Slightly sweet malt aroma, perfumed hops. Mealy malt base with a spicy edge, good hop counterpoint, flowery, perfumed hops retronasal. Solid, chewy body, yet light on the palate, sparkly mouthfeel. Easy drinkable summer treat.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and thick foamy head. Malt-accented aroma with bready notes and hints of cara-malt, accompanied by a lighter herbal hoppy touch. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a pleasantly matured carbonation. Bready cara-malty taste with a dry character and light herbal hops; cara-malty, hop bitter and herbal finish. Pleasant and not too fat Festbier, but with 11.xx° Plato it is rather a Dortmunder/Helles. 15.VIII.10
