Bottle, thanks Fin! Clear golden. Hoppy bitterness. Soft, a tad front heavy, oily creamy. Tiny bit too sweet. Still a decent beer.

0.33l bottle from Gerhard Wimmer EDEKA, Jandelsbrunn, shared with Gurthnar. Crystal clear golden body, fairly fleeting white head. Corky herbal hoppy aroma. Lean, dry, corky herbal bitter taste. Extremely simplistic, low bitterness, very Southern Bavarian with the minerally aspect. Clean, could drink a few, but the 0.33l bottle wouldn't be helpful there. Shame they are closing, still...

Bottle picked up from brewery at Jandelsbrunn, sat outside Frank at Klein Camping Aberblick, Reichertsried Bavarian National Park Thursday 13th October 2022. Pours clear gold with a white head. I like this, ok I am sure it's not without it's flaws, I mean it could be a little bit crisper but it's a good Pils, fruity, with a slow but steady progression into dryness.

Das ein Pilsener das Flagschiffprodukt einer bayerischen Brauerei ist, dürfte eher ungewöhnlich sein. Die kleine Jandelsbrunner Brauerei aus dem Bayerischen Wald ist eben solch eine Ausnahme. Für ein Pils eher mild gehopft. Getreidige und leicht malzige Noten. Angenehm trockener Abgang. Auch gut für Freunde eines Exports / Märzen geeignet. Gut.
Wer dieses tolle Bier noch verkosten will kommt vermutlich zu spät. Nachdem die Brauerei über 200 Jahre existiert hat soll sie nun Ende März 2026 endgültig geschlossen werden. Das ist eine Tragödie. Immer wenn eine Brauerei schließt, verliert ein Engel im Himmel seine Flügel.

33cl bottle. Pours clear pale golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of grainy pale malt, mild hops. Taste of grainy malt, mild bitterness, spicy hops, decent Pilsener.

Pours a golden color with a fine white head. Aroma of hops. Near medium body with moderate carbonation

Bottled 330ml. -from Getränke Degenhart Passau. Pale golden coloured, small white head, weak nose. Malty, grassy, herbal hoppy and weak grainy with bitter finish. One of many.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, hay, grain, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malt, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20111129]

Bottle: Golden with a greenish sheen, slowly diminishing small white head; grainy nose with a shy grainy-hoppy touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite dry, light bodied; a tinge of cardboard in the grassy dry finish. Not bad, but tastes like an "industrial" beer.........
