On tap at Craft Beer. Clear dark brown beer, residual tan head. Semi dry palate, very mild carbonation. Odd beer! A tiny bit of dark malt, then quite a strong boiled sweets generic candy sweetness. However it finishes with some bitter piney hop! A bit messy but impossible not to like!

Cask at the Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria. Deep chestnut with a dense beige head; autumn fruit aroma; smooth, with a sweet, fruity blackberry flavour and some nutty roasted malts; then a lightly bitter finish. Pleasantly refreshing.

(Cask at CASK Pub & Kitchen, London) This beer was closer to a dunkel or a dark mild than an ESB. There were molasses and mild roastedness both in aroma and taste. Despite the style confusion I liked drinking this beer. The aroma could have been a bit fresher - now it was a bit musty. Otherwise a flawless beer with decent taste.

Cask at CPK. Pours a clear, amber-brown with a mild, white head. Holds a light roast aroma, with some caramel and brown sugar. Fairly sweet flavor, malty, with very little bitterness. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. There’s some dry roast in the finish, very mild, and perhaps some light fruits. Mild in character overall, and very drinkable.
