Juicy Double IPA with notes of freshly peeled tangerines, coconut milk and sweet passionfruit, thanks to plenty of Sabro Hops. Keep it cold and drink it fresh.

Can from Tesco, Reading. A hazy yellowy-gold beer with a white head and a light fizz. Big whiff of apricot and tropical fruit. Dies a little on tasting though leaving just light flavours of orange and tropical fruit and a hint of coconut cream in the mildly bitter aftertaste. The booze is well hidden making it (dangerously) easy to drink - I wouldn't have known this was 8.4%. However, it all just feels a bit dull by the end.

440ml can reduced to clear at Tesco - Hazy gold body, thick white head. Hefty tropical fruit nose, peaches, stone fruits, mandarins, a good old sniffer. Bit drier in the taste, plenty of unripe mango and passion fruit picked up, bitter drying finish. Overall, enjoyable.

New Year's Day 2026 Beers #2 of 3. An initial boozy blast relents to allow a quite a lot of stone fruit flavour through as it lingers long, there's still an impact with its strength though, and has a slower sipping texture.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. £1.50. Peachy fruity lightly zesty easy drinking clean big bopper. No complaints from me, especially at the price point. I’m headed back and hoping the massive pile of these is still there.

Can at home picked up from Tesco. This can was brewed in Sweden. A light hazed brushed gold coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is semi sweet, creamy wheat, vanilla, orange creamsicle, mango puree. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy oats, orange creamsivle, custard cream, spicy tangerine, biscuit, mellow sabro action, grape jelly, dill. Palate is semi sweet, creamy, some alcohol warmth, moderate carbonation. Not bad, Good boost.

Can at home from Tesco in St Evenage. At home having returned from a barbecue where I was the designated driver. Good pour and the taste of a grown up DIPA with lots of rich and bitter hops. None of that fruity frippery.
