A delicate and lightly hopped beer with the fresh fruitiness of South Down’s elderflowers witch are added after the boil to preserve their delicate aroma.

Cask at Market Porter. Nice summer ale, you can taste the elderflower. Not my favourite for session ale

Cask-conditioned at the Cask Pub & Kitchen, 14/08/2011. Golden in colour with a decent white head. Aroma of grassy hops, hay and elderflowers, Flavour had a touch of citrus fruit, solid malts, more elderflowers and a dry finish. Good.

Half pint, hand pulled at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. Clear, straw-gold coloued body. Bubbly surface, fragile lacing. Herbs and flowers to the nose. Fruit-floral hops in flavour, half-dry. Smooth bitter end. Mild oily palate. Nice (London, 29.07.2011).

On tap at the White Horse, Parsons Green. Clear gold beer, light white head. Dry palate - very dry!!! Bitter hops - orange, grapefruit. A light touch of honey provides some relief from the dry bitterness. Edlerflower? Could have fooled me! Stupidly dry beer and a huge dissapointment!

Cask at the White Horse. Pours clear gold, light, with a fine cream head. Floral hop aroma with light grass and bread. Fairly sweet, with mild bread and caramel, then a strong though not excessive bitterness. Plenty of flowery hops and modest earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation and quite smooth. Lightly sweet on the finish with lots of lingering hops. Great stuff.

(Cask at Angleterre, Helsinki) Poured pale golden and almost clear. Head was medium sized, long lasting and white. Aroma contained fruitiness, hops and floweriness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were hops, flower and dominating bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. The bitterness killed all the other flavours too quickly.

Cask handpull at Evening Star, Brighton. Pale gold, thin bubbly white head. Oh now, that is good. Love the elderflower hop mix and the finish is stunning. Just gorgeous. Works so well together with good bit on finish. Lovely hop finish.
