Bottle shared at the March THT at Kwartje. Clear dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of dark fruit, fruit oxidation, caramel, figs, prunes, raisins, light toffee, candi sugar. Could not detect the walnuts.

Bottle shared at THT. Hazy brown with a small beige head. Aroma of overripe dark fruits, caramel, candy, nutty notes and sweet malt. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from bottle at THT March at Kwartje. Dark brown with no head left. Sweet malts, leathery, dates, figgs, walnuts. Quite sweet, light bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Feels light and thin for a quad but the taste is quite nice.

Bottle shared at THT. Bit hazy dark brown with barely any head. Lots of walnuts, figs, cognac, raisins, sherry, dried red fruits, apples, light herbs. Quite sweet with alcoholic bitterness. Over medium bodied with slick feel.

Sampled @ ACBF Vichte 2017. Klare orange braune Farbe. Geruch nach roten Früchten, hefig, Nelke, reifes Obst. Geschmack nach reifen Früchten, Karamell, Obst, alkoholisch, gut.

Thank you! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Beerlovers Bar. Dark red wine brown with little tanned head. Nose is stick sweet walnut with herbal notes, sweet leaves, sherry oxidation and spice, big on walnut. Taste is weird herbal walnut, big sherry profile, oily raisin, sweet, herbal, thinned out,... Oily sherry bodied brew, soft carbonation, walnut oil. Sherry & walnut notes are good, but some weird herbal profile, common tread in beers of this type with Kees, sherry profile start to dominate too heavily but not bad. Nice idea.

Draught Almost no head, ruby-brown beer. Sweety, syrupy, red dried fruit nose, rosewater. Rosewater overdose, with wood in the somewhat more bitter (not-hoppy) finish. Generally sweet. Very well-bodied, viscous, rich MF. Too sweet by half.

Sampled from tap at ACBF 2017. Clear, deep red with a beige head. Sweetish, malty and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, molasses, nuts and raisins. Rather sweet, malty, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, vanilla, nuts, clove and licorice, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very nice, a bit too yeasty though.
