Poured a bright clear amber. Your standard malts and grains but unremarkable otherwise

Bottle. Clear, orange copper color. Decent head and good lace. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is a grain, sweet taste with a slight bitter aftertaste.

I'm feeling good. Which is completely contraindicated to what I was being told.

An Oktoberfest ale?
I bought a bottle of this in a mixed six pack of Oktoberfests:

Poured a nice, ahem, amber and the head was pleasing and somewhat persistant.

The smell was fairly strong but I couldn't say it was malty or hoppy...it's vegetal?

The taste almost reminded me of cinnamon but that would have been a welcomed note at this point. I'm not the biggest fan of the style but this is one that I'm sure that I won't try again.

Deep copper with a white head. Sweet malty note, light earth, and very light bitterness. Decent.

(Bottle) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly toasty nose with notes of dried apricots, orange, toffee, nuts and rye bread. Malty taste with toffee, dried apricots, caramel, candy sugar, orange, rye bread and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced with a chewy malt character. Quite nice.

MIld honey nose, some dried leaves. Cloudy amber, thin head. Honey on the front end, dried leaves on the back. Medium body, easily sessionable. Not a lot of oompf, but that probably wasn’t the intent.

Bland and unmemorable, watery, generic tasting. Very faint aroma and flavors, no finish.
