Bottle. A birthday gift off Totnes. Very soft haze on a pale amber. Fine, lasting wisp, and a few bubbles of off white foam. Nose has spicy biscuit malts. Some cracknel toffee. Some floral, herby hop. Taste is spicy, and herby bitter, with a flicker of grainy sweetness. Light to medium body with bright carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Liked this a lot. Great example of the style.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Hazy lightish amber with a small creamy-frothy head. Hoppy ale with a tropical fruitiness that’s slightly stewed in both aroma and taste.
