Bottle from Beer Merchants (Iโ€™m pretty sure I had this at the brewery also). It pours light hazy amber, with a decent white head. The nose is grapefruit, orange, mango and some urine. The taste is juicy orange citrus fruit, orange sherbet, grass and earth, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Another solid Kernel offering, but a bit off their best.

Bottle@Craft Beer co, London. Poured a vivid and enticing golden colour with a steady medium sized white head. Citrus, tropical fruit and hops stood out in a very appealing nose. Flavour was the bomb, grassy resin sodden hop and sweet malts aplenty, all exceedingly well balanced. Winning bitterness level. An all round stonker. You could say I dug it.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours a glowing, rich gold with a lingering, foamy white head. Huge cat pee nose, some grass and citric notes. Wow, amazing flavor, tons of fine grass, more cat urine, and good sweetness to hold it all up. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Bit more malt comes through at the end, plenty of resiny hops, some pine and citrus rind. Yet more piss! Outstanding.

Eventually got a pint of this after a bar scrum at the Euston Tap. The Trinity/SCANS mash up. Slightly hazy amber beer. Tidy pale cream head. Slightly soft palate. A little creamy malt introduces silky, juicy hops that are grassy orange with a little pine. Really nice beer this - hugely drinkable and with a really nice palate. Went back for another but the queue was out the front door! Original Score 3.9

Bottle. Cloudy amber beer with a good white head. Softish palate but with a bite from the fine carbonation. Citra orange on a creamy malt background with whispers of tropical fruits. Minerals. Trace of peach. A really nice level of bitterness that lingers well past the semi dry and semi crisp finish. A fine fine IPA I could drink all night. Donโ€™t understand all these moderate ratings for this beer!

Bottle at Euston Tap. Hazy gold lasting near white head. Great grapefruit lychee hop aroma. Good hops. Lacks a little in the body if i am being super critical. Live the aroma, love the finishing hop I just feel maybe there isnt the malt backbone there to carry it through. Sherbert bitter finish. Evin sets high standards and this just misses. Its good just lacks that body

Bottle at The Kernel Brewery, Bermondsey, London 18.06.11 consumed at home 19.06.11 Pours orange amber with a rim of white bubbles and some haziness. Nice hoppy nose, taste is also very hoppy, crisp, fresh green hops and a good biting bitterness. Soft in the mouth with a little watermelon to counter all of the crisp fresh green hops some late citrus comes through, this is good stuff. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.5

Bottled (from the Kernel). Amber hazy colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral along with some sweet maltyness as well as mild grassy bitter notes. Flavour is fruity, grassy, earthy and some mild grassy notes along with some rather sweet maltyness. Wellbalanced, but maybe a bit too much hops for me.
