E’ la birra prodotta e dedicata per la primavera, e come tale offre un’esplosione di profumi che vanno dal fruttato, all’erbaceo dovuto ai luppoli usati in fermentazione, allo speziato ottenuto con un miscela di erbe e spezie elaborate dopo lunghe notti di ricerche. Una birra ricca di suggestioni, complessa nei profumi e nel gusto, ed altamente dissetante.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at HBF2013) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sourness, spices and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spices, sourness, yeast, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was spicy and bitter. A nice saison.

08/06/2012 Open Baladin (tap). Dorata, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca morbida, molto abbondante e persistente. Al naso aroma di malto, lieviti, speziata, luppolo. In bocca malto, lieviti, luppolo, molto gustosa e fragrante, un bel cocktail bilanciato ed elegante, finale abbastanza pulito. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Tra le migliori saison mai bevute.

From tap at Open Baladin. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peppery and light yeasty. Dry, yeasty and light peppery flavoured. Bitter and light toasted malty. Crisp hoppy and bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a modest cream head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of dough, vanilla, flowering herbs, apricot, caramel. Taste is sweet with caramel, almonds and apricots, dough, vanilla, angelica, cloves. Seems drier and spicier at the end as you drink on.
