Different pump-clip but still 4.4% ABV. I had two hand-pulled pints in The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire over Sunday lunchtime on 10th Sep 2017. I think Andy the barman was fed up hearing the same question: No, it's not purple and NO, it's not hazy. It is in fact a very nice beer. Golden amber body, off-white crown of lasting foam. Decent blend with a semi-sweet malty base balanced by some bittering hops, easy drinking beer, went well with the free cheese cubes (Cheddar and Red Leicester). A bit 'twiggy' like a lot of brews from Wood's!

Spoons festival! Clear amber beer. Good creamy head but fades fast. Dry creamy palate. Sweetish malt. Fruity -orange and peach, tangy as well. Gets crisper in the mid which contrasts nicely to the malt getting creamier. A little bit out of the odinary and one of the better Spoons Fest beers. Even ordered a second!

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Golden amber with a ring of white head; floral aroma; dry herbal flavour to start then becoming sweeter with hints of honey; light spicy finish. Yet another boring bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 2/11/10. amber with a slight white head. Sweet, mandarin and floral hop aroma. Flavour of sweet, biscuit malts, with more orange fruit and a short, dry finish. Ok.
