Mr. Kite has been a staff favorite since he walked into our lives five years ago. Brewed with pilsen malt and both flaked and malted oats, this 6.7% IPA is soft and comforting while still finishing with a refined dryness. Just the way we like ‘em.
Only two hops run through Mr. Kite’s veins: Nelson Sauvin and Citra. Crushed white grape and overripe pop tropical fruit, balanced by melon and citrus zest. The finest of the bines, from New Zealand to the Pacific Northwest.

Pint can, WW. Hazy pale gold with a giant white head. Lemongrass, tangerine peel and juice in the nose. Tangerine, melted plastic (canned 8/25/21, drinking 10/21/21, so not too old), pineapple, grapefruit peel. Over-carbonated. I think this is slightly infected, but it still has a nice flavor (except for the initial melted plastic).

A hazed blonde ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light dank resinous hops, light mineral notes, fruity esters, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with dank resinous hops, light mineral notes, light citrus pulp, well balanced. On tap at brewery.

Very solid IPA from Ocelot. Plenty of mango and tangerine. Pours golden clear. Light bitter end. Some green onion in the end. The beer that keeps on giving. Tap at Churchkey.
