Pale ale beer which looks weak, has a similarly poor body but does have some fruit notes.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 3/11/10. Pale gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lime and floral hops. Sweet, rather thin flavour with plenty more citrus fruit and a dryish finish. Ok.

Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley. Hazy amber with a tight off-white head that laced the glass nicely; earthy citrus aroma; sharp grapefruit flavour to start then developing into some digestive biscuits; the finish is clean and lightly bitter. An interesting pint.

Cask at The Central Bar. Pours pale, cloudy yellow with no head. Faint malt, yeast and vegetable aroma. Flavor is interesting. Quitr spicy, like autumn spices, with some bready sweetness and dry bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. The finish is fruity and very doughy. Interesting and not altogether bad.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Pale gold. Thin whiteish head. Hoppy golden ale, hop is a little dusty. Aroma is a tad ascetic, not familiar with Crystal hops. Bitter on finish, hop flavour is a bit like space dust. Touch of lemon. OK, but not really my thing. I like the lime Angel Delight finish.
