7/4/2022. Keg at King Street Brew House, Bristol. Pours hazy dark orange amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma of orange, pineapple, mango, grass, pine. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a slight tart edge. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. Possibly the best on offer here? Two darks to go.

Dan's Stag. Brewhouse. Bristol. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light dry malts, mildly sweet. Little spicy citrus and orange peel. Dry finish. Tangy peel linger. All right.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours clear orange-gold with a tight, creamy topping. The nose has rindy citrus, tangerine, pale bread, hints of pine. Light sweet flavour with touches of pine, more tangerine rind, lightly dried pale bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some rindy bitterness, dry pale bread, orange rind. Good stuff.

The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, bready, biscuit, toasty grain, bit floral and citrus peel with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty run of the mill.
