330 ml bottle, thanks to omhper. ABV is 10.7%. BB date October 2011. Black colour, minimal carbonation, thin beige head. Distinct aroma of whisky, peat smoke, oak and roast malts, hints of tar and liquorice. Slightly sweet flavour, peat smoke, oak and whisky, hints of tar, chocolate and liquorice, modest hops, the finish is a bit dull.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Pitch black, no head. Roasted aroma with peat, dark malts, smoke, wooden notes. Taste is bitter-roasted. Full body, flat carbonation. Finishes dry and smoky with peated notes. Rather peated, not so balanced.

Bottle. Dark brown liquid with small to medium light tan head. Aroma of coffee, barnyard, horseblanket, bread, chocolate and peat. Obviously brett infected. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of coffee, smoke, barnyard and wood. Very, very bretty. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Infected in a not entirely unpleasant way, but still bad.

(Bottle) Very dark brown colour, almost black, with hints of ruby. Brief bubbly beige head. Roasted, smoky nose with notes of dark fruit, tar, prunes, raisins, coffee and dark bread. Roasted, malty taste with caramel, dark fruit, raisins, chocolate, dark wort bread, vanilla, hints of tar and a finish with a balanced bitter-sweet touch. Almost full body, smooth and rounded, with a gentle sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Very nice.

33cl bottle, courtesy of and shared with Gnoff.
