(Cask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 19 May 2011) Golden amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange, peaches and a touch of mango chutney. Malty, fruity taste with notes of biscuity malt, peaches and a fresh, citrussy bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, with a touch of sweetness. Quite nice.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Copper colour, lasting beige head. Slight sulphur yeast aroma. Cracking nick. Bitter beer finish. Really work-a-day session bitter that is bitter. Just a touch of acidity/bleach somewhere.

Draught at London Brewers Showcase. Pours light, clear brown with faint white head. Weird aroma of water and plastic. Flavor seemed poor, with more plastic-like bitterenss and faint bread. Mild coffee notes. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Didn’t do it for me.
