Brewed at Everards by Virginie Harze from Brasserie de l’Abbaye du Val-Dieu.
Pale yellow in colour, with a beautifully perfumed, slightly piquant aroma. Its flavour is initially sweet, before developing a refreshing bitterness and fruitiness, resulting in a hoppy finish.

12th April 2010. Slightly hazy pale gold beer. No head and no carbonation! Light semi dry palate. Very light malt that is aromatic. Subtle orange and floral notes. A whsiper of banana. Finishes semi dry. I like the way that all the subtle flavours join up. Some carbonation would be good. A tiny bit of spice in the aftertaste.

[Cask at Monks Retreat, Reading] Yellow with a slight white, negligible head. Sweet marzipan, followed by floral hints. Nice smooth refreshing mouthfeel. Flavours are a little muted, but it worked rather well for me - an enjoyable beer.

Cask, handpump at The Penny Black, Bicester, Oxon, 18-04-10 Pours a lemony colour wth a slight haze, otherwise looks good, there is a light sprinkling of bubbles on the top. Aroma is quite delicate, some petals, bit of rose? sweet and floral in mouth touch warm maybe. There is confectionery sweetness about this, its fine but would have been much better without such a sweet edge. . A7 A3 F6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask-conditioned at the Lord Moon of the Mall, London 9/04/10. Slightly cloudy gold in colour with a decent white head. Sweet, yeasty aroma with some floral hops. Flavours of sweet, grainy malts and peach, with a dryish, hoppy finish. Ok.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Gold with a slight haze and lasting white head. Puke on the aroma. Not very good to be honest. Ugh. The puke makes me not want to drink it. Some hop on end. But if you bring a beer to your mouth and your nose is saying "this smells of puke" it’s pretty difficult to drink it.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Slightly hazy pale straw in colour with a ring of white head; floral aroma; sweet, delicate, floral flavour; then a dry and lightly bitter finish. Very delicate and refreshing.
