Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some woody bourbon notes and not much residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some woody bourbon notes and vanilla notes and a semi-dry finale. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Strong woody bourbon stout with not too much astringency.

375mL bottle, pours jet/motor oil black with a tiny head. Aroma is complex, with intense bourbon barrel complexity, plenty of char, lots of wood, and toasted malt. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense bourbon barrels, plenty of char, wood, medium roast, and dry cocoa. Woody, charred finish. Very good.

Dark brown. Nice rich aroma, deep chocolate, with some toffee and molasses. Solid bourbon character as well. Rich bourbon and dark chocolate. Soft body, good sweetness, comes across as complex with a lot of dark sugar richness.

375ml (thx, Alex G.!) @ Ryan's.
Aroma: a lot of American oak, toasted barrel, thick, some sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines.
Overall: another liquid oak bomb, good, but I am kinda got tired of drinking them as they are way too similar.

Aug 13, 2025 (8/4/8/4/17=4.1): Poured from 375mL bottle (my traded bottle from Derek & JF). Same rating notes, but slightly less thin than I remember, decent.
June 11, 2025 (8/4/8/4/16=4.0): Poured from 375mL bottle (provided by beerplace, but thanking Derek & JF anyway and will trade or just casually share my bottle). Near black with minimal beige head. Oaky bourbon, almost a touch on the thinner side, not much else besides the barrel character. Decent in terms of barrel character, but not much underneath supporting the beer. It's fine.
