This is pale yellow in colour and slightly cloudy in appearance, with a beautifully perfumed, slightly piquant aroma. Its flavour is initially sweet, before developing a refreshing bitterness and fruitiness, resulting in a hoppy finish.

Cask at the Bankers Draft, Bedford. Light to mid-gold, very clear. Hello, other side of the glass, I can see you! Aroma is sulphurous and a bit yeasty. Taste is... sulphurous and a bit yeasty, a muddled sour/bittersweet which neither really satisfies nor refreshes. A bit of citrus and tropical fruit in the aftertaste. Not quite an epic fail but certainly a waste of good alcohol.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours perfectly clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds cereal, lager malts, soft yeast and straw. Light-medium sweet flavor with lots of cereal and biscuits, faint honey, apple, very mellow Belgian yeast, some gooey lemon. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. OK balance at the finale, with more cereal sugars, slight ripe citrus, some pale grains, hay, mild yeast, dough. Nothing wrong here. Pretty drinkable stuff.
