Bottle from Havnens Vin & Tobak as Fanø Vadehav. Aroma is intense malt, caramel, toffee, overripe apples, and hints of sour cherries. Taste is medium to very sweet, light to medium bitter, and light acidic. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of caramel, toffee, apples, cherries, blackcurrant, coffee, and faint hints of liquorice.

Bottle. Cloudy red brown, low brown head. Medium body, dry chewy roast, herbal hops, chocolate in the nose, pleasant melanoidin, salt caramel. Light tar and smoke retronasal.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (Fanø TTO 13/10/2016) - dark brown pour with beige head. Toasty and roasted malty aroma and taste, medium sweet with some caramel, toffee, cocoa, nuts, medium bitter in the finish

0,5 l bottle. Red brown in the glass, big light beige short living head. Malty nose, some chestnut. Taste starts with a lot of light toasted malt, caramell some decent hop elements. Sweetness in the background. Crisp. Another nice one from Fanø.

Bottle, 6.5%. Pours hazy coffee brown with airy but stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with touches of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with notes of yeast and touches of roast, nuts, fruit and hops. Estery aftertaste with mild acidic hints. Decent.

Flaskenhos Einar, påsekn-15: Mørkebrun, med kort beige skum. Aromaen har en kremet fylde som selve ølet ikke har. Men når det er sagt, så er dette et deijlig øl. Ristet brød, mørk kaffe, nøtter og bjørnebær. Tørr avslutning. Mersmak. Flaks at Einar skulle tidlig på jobb, slik at jeg fikk mesteparten.

500ml bottle ordered through Vinmonopolet bestillingsutvalget. Shared with Elisabeth and Stefan. Bubbly tan-coloured head to a clear rosewood coloured body. Brown malty aromas, earth and nuts. Mid-sweet flavours of chocolate and caramel. Dark roasted malty ending. Foamy in the mouth. Fine bodied. Tasty and highly appreciated (Tromsø 20.10.2014).

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Fast schwarze Farbe, ordentliche bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch nach viel Röstmalz, Gewürzen, Kaffee und Vanille. Geschmack schokoladig, sehr malzig, Karamell, Vanille.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Ekstremt mørk amber. Egentlig svart. Middels høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Aroma av røstet malt & fjøs. Fjøspreget fortsetter over til smaken men overtar heldigvis av kaffe. Forvirrende øl. Ubalansert. Veksler mellom godt & dårlig. Ettersmaken er f.eks. helt ok.
