Rerate, 500 ml bottle, as Fanø Vadehav, BB date 15.09.2013, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Gusher bottle. Deep reddish brown colour, large beige head. Malty and moderately roasty aroma, some spicy hints. Dry and medium roasty flavour, some spicy notes too. Okay, but did not sweep me off my feet. No need to change my rating. Original rating: Sample from bottle, tasted a bit too warm. Fairly dark brown ale, distinctly malty but medium dry, with more pronounced roasty notes than many other brown ales. Also fairly decent hops, slightly spicy finish. Will re-rate when I get a full bottle.

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a deep brown colour, with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet with a touch of meat, cheese, pepper and brown malt. Funnily. The taste has more roasted malt and leather, as well as tree and still spicy meat. Has a smooth mouthfeel and a light bitterness. This is a beer that is hard to place, but is interesting and straightforward.

Flavour is moderate sweet malt, dark chocolate, coffee and fruity bitterness. Fine body and a nice, light bitter aftertaste. Smooth, nice and balanced. A nice brown ale indeed.

Draught at Fairbar, Århus, 6% ABV
Hazy brown color with amber hue; creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, a bit dusty. Good body structure, with a quite round mouthfeel; very good mix of malt, roasted malt and chocolate, with a nutty edge and some sweetness; quite strong bitterness; possibly there is a fruity trace too.
Very good, vibrant, complete.
