Mild-wässriger Antrunk, erst später im Hintergrund mild säuerlich, trocken, deutlich getreidig. Erfrischend, nicht wirklich komplex aber dafür stimmig. Laffer, etwas kräuterartiger Abgang. /8/7/6//6

Pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of straw and lemon. Has a tart lemon juice flavour though not extreme in the acidity. Nice earthy finish.

Bottle, at Esbjerg Beer Festival. It pours a hazy, white-ish pale yellow body under a small, white head. Lactic nose with grains and a good dash of citrus. Mildly milky sour flavor, in a good way that is, with citrus, grains and some bread yeast. Lemony finish. Acidic and dry in the mouth. A very refreshing beer, opening my eyes for the style, as I’ve only had Berliner Kindl editions of berliner weisse earlier. This one I want more of. 091022

Bottle at EsBF09. Mild citric aroma, not very distinct. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is nicely citric and tart. I get a little plastic in the flavour, but no more than can be tolerated. Not as dry as some of the original German ones. Good effort.

On bottle at Borefts BF 09. Light spontaneously fermented 3% Berliner, cloudy/hazy pale gold, thin white head. Banana and wild yeast aroma. Almonds/marzipan in mouth, crazy. You know what? I really like it. Some lemon, very tasty, light, but full of flavour and character from the yeast. Good.

On tap. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with absolutely no head. Lactic acidity and yeast in the nose. Very light-bodied, a little citrus, yeast and again distinct lactic acids. Dry and lightly astringent finish. 221009
