Sample at the brewpub. Hazy golden color with a medium fluffy white head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruit, malt and grassy hops. Medium body with flavors of brett, floral hops, malt and tropical fruit. The finish is mildly funky with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

The beer is a fairly pale straw-ish yellow color. It’s quite cloudy with a very puffy white head. Tons of bubbles. The bottle gushed a fair bit upon opening. The aroma is sweet, dusty grain with a pleasant farmhouse yeastiness. Fruity, floral brett flavors. Light apricot, peach, honey with a deeper earthiness underneath it. Quite dry. Just a little bit of underlying simple malt sugariness. Lots of earthy yeast flavor. Moderate bitterness. Nice, light feel. Effervescent. Easy to drink.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Gusher. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is quite peppery with some light fruits a bit of flora and underlying Brett and sweet grains. Flavor has sweet fruits and flora backed by peppery Brett and some sweet grains and biscuit.

Bottle share gathering at Bruce’s. Thanks to Rocket Rudkin. Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is crisp and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Dry creamy malt. Dry brett savoury leads to mild orange. Touch of citric peel. Mild grain. Dry and slightly bitter brett finish. Dry and a bit overblown on the brett.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s place. Thanks to Colin. Light hazed bright yellow / straw coloured pour with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is floral, pollen, straw, light funk, plastic, lemon. Flavour is nice pineapple, lemon, floral, straw grains, tangy, crisp finish. Palate is light and crisp, tangy fruit, high airy carbonation. Super dry finish. Lingering citrus, Brett funk. Maybe a little thin. Good stuff.

Bottle split at Bruce’s, acquired from the funkatorium, 06/03/15. Hazed orange golden with a decent white cap. Nose is citric tinged straw, funk, pissy, grapefruit, tangerine, melon, quite a tropical medley. Taste comprises apricot, straw, light spice, funk, tangerine, passionfruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying clsoe. Decent tropical infused saison, earthy hops, well balanced.

Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. The nose is earthy, bretty, lemon sherbet, must, grape skin, dirt, manure and general filth. The taste is lightly bitter, musty, earth, wood, spice, drying, straw, barnyard, lemon and grapefruit rind with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I sort of expected more, but still ok.
