Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Colin. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head. Lovely aroma with nips of peach, zesty lemon, light pale dough. Light sweet flavor with juicy nectarine, orange, minimal bitterness, dry pale bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Graceful finish with some dry pale dough, straw, lemon rind, peach. Lovely.

Location: .5 liter bottle from Bruisin' Ales, 1/5/15

Aroma: Aroma is brett and yeast, plenty of spice, nice citrus notes, and a bunch of pepper
Appearance: A cloudy golden color with a thick, lasting sheet of white head and medium lace
Flavor: The flavor is saison yeast and heavy spice/pepper, fairly funky, with a good bit of fruit
Palate: The body is medium, clean, with a fairly funky feel-wise, with a dry, lively finish
Overall Impression: The draft was my preferred sampling method for this one, but it is an excellent beer in both formats. I got the impression that Wicked Weed makes a great funky beer. I'm excited to try the rest of the bottles I purchased. I'll use the (slightly higher) draft score for the one I enter here.
4.0:8/4/8/4/16

Location: Draft at the Funkatorium, 1/2/15

Aroma: It has a very bretty aroma, with a nice yeast component, light spice, and fruit notes
Appearance: It pours a nice, clear gold color, with a white head, and fairly heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is bretty and funky, yeast, spice, and a bit of fruitiness as well
Palate: The mouthfeel of this one is clean and funky, with a really nice body
Overall Impression: Really just world class on draft for me. That's probably my preferred way to drink this one. Excellent stuff.

Had this at the 2014 RB Pittsburgh Summer Gathering at Horny Devil’s place. Actually it was after the equinox at the beginning of fall, but DILLIGAF. Big thanks to James & Michelle for hosting such a nice spread of quality beers and for this particular beer a GIANT thanks goes out to artmcd8. Mild brighter pineapple smells. Slightly hazy yellah. Some co2 in there. Taste starts off a little bitter then it goes sharply to the back of the throat. It manifests there for a while. Overall that sharpness thing tends to distract me but the overall experience was wasn’t too bad.

Bottle at Salud. Slightly hazy bright golden yellow, fluffy white head. Aroma is dusty bretty peppery grapefruit. Taste is funky citrus, hay, straw, black pepper. Great body. Love these lower abv saisons, there’s nothing gained by making a beer like this 10%.

500 mL bottle shared by Andy at Ale Alpharetta. Pours light, hazy yellow, with a small, filmy, white head. The aroma is hay, lemon zest, leather, light pepper, and some light rye. Malty, musty and dry, with just a light tartness. Very light body, just a little astringent, and hard. Overall, this is a very interesting, light, refreshing, very dry saison.
